Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 doesn't have a release date yet. As of November 3, 2026, MAPPA says the season, titled Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game Part 2 (呪術廻戦「死滅回游 後編」), is in production, but there is no premiere date, month or year. The next real chance of news is the Jujutsu Kaisen panel at Jump Festa 2027 on Saturday, December 19, 2026.
Below is everything that's confirmed, what's still unknown, and how to catch up before Part 2 lands.

Jargon check: a cour is a TV block of about three months, usually 11 to 13 weekly episodes. Season 3 was a single cour of 12 episodes. MAPPA hasn't said whether Part 2 will be one cour, two, or a split run.
Everything announced so far (timeline)
- March 2026: right after the 12th and last episode of Season 3, the anime announced a fourth season, The Culling Game Part 2.
- June 19, 2026: at MAPPA's 15th Anniversary Lineup Reveal livestream, a teaser video confirmed the anime is in production, with no release window. It also named Takeru Sato as the new director.
- July 2026 (Anime Expo): the panel gave no date, visual or teaser. Junya Enoki, the Japanese voice of Yuji Itadori, only said fans would have a "little bit of a wait."
- August 29, 2026 (Juju Fes 2026): a new Season 4 key visual showing Ryomen Sukuna's hand reaching out of the shadows. Still no date.
- September–October 2026: Jump Festa 2027 put Jujutsu Kaisen on its main Jump Super Stage and later scheduled it for Day 1.
That's the whole list. If you see a specific Season 4 premiere date online right now, it's a guess. Some articles say "confirmed for 2027," but even those admit nothing official exists yet.
The Jump Festa 2027 panel: December 19
Jump Festa is Shueisha's big year-end event at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. Jujutsu Kaisen's slot, from the official Jump Festa site:
| Detail | Info |
|---|---|
| Day | Saturday, December 19, 2026 (Day 1) |
| Time | 15:25–15:55 JST |
| Stage | Jump Super Stage |
| Guests | Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori), Mikako Komatsu (Maki Zen'in), Kazuya Nakai (Kinji Hakari), Daisuke Namikawa (Choso) |
| Livestream | Not marked on the official timetable yet |
The official page promises Culling Game cast members and a look at "where Jujutsu Kaisen has been and where it's going." Kazuya Nakai's guest comment even says "let's build up the excitement for Season 4." That's the closest thing to a hint so far. It's not a promise of a date, but a first trailer, a release window or even a premiere month would fit a 30-minute main-stage slot.
Your time zone (December, no daylight saving in the US or Europe):

When could Season 4 realistically air? (our take)
This part is my opinion, not an announcement.
Season 2 ended in December 2023 and Season 3 started in January 2026, a gap of about two years. Part 2 was announced the moment Part 1 ended, though, and MAPPA showed a teaser only three months later. That's faster than last time. Season 3 also aired in a late-night slot on MBS and TBS. Here in Japan, that's technically 12:26 a.m. on Friday.
My guess is that Jump Festa brings a release window, not an exact day, and that the season itself is a 2027 show. I'd be surprised to see it before spring 2027. Treat all of that as a fan's estimate. I'll update this post the day anything official drops.
How to catch up before Season 4 (watch order)
Watch in release order. The prequel film slots in after Season 1.
| # | Part | Episodes | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Season 1 | 24 | Oct 2020 – Mar 2021 |
| 2 | Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (film) | Movie | Prequel, released Dec 2021 in Japan; introduces Yuta Okkotsu |
| 3 | Season 2 | 23 | 2023: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death (5) + Shibuya Incident (18) |
| 4 | Season 3: The Culling Game Part 1 | 12 | Jan 9 – Mar 27, 2026 (Japan) |
| 5 | Season 4: The Culling Game Part 2 | TBA | Not dated yet |
Skippable: the Season 3 recap special that aired on February 20, 2026, and the two compilation films shown in Japanese theaters in 2025. They re-cut episodes you will already have seen.
At about 24 minutes an episode, that's roughly 23–24 hours of TV plus the film. Two episodes a night gets you from Season 1 to the end of Season 3 in about a month.

Where to watch Jujutsu Kaisen legally
Availability depends on your region:
| Region | Where | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Outside Asia (US, UK, Europe, etc.) | Crunchyroll | Every season, subtitled and dubbed; Season 3's English dub began Jan 22, 2026 |
| Asia-Pacific | Ani-One Asia (YouTube, Ultra), iQIYI | Licensed by Medialink |
| Southeast Asia, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan | Netflix | Added by Ani-One Asia from June 2021; check your country's catalogue for newer seasons |
| Japan | Broadcast on MBS/TBS, plus Japanese streaming services | Season 3 aired in the late-night slot |
Nobody has confirmed Season 4's streaming partner yet. Crunchyroll has carried every season outside Asia, so it's the safe bet, but wait for the announcement.
Can I read ahead in the manga?
Yes. Gege Akutami's manga ended on September 30, 2024 in Weekly Shonen Jump, after 30 volumes. The Culling Game arc is already complete in print. Season 4 adapts the rest of it, and the story after that is out there too.
Spoiler warning: searches like "what happens in Culling Game Part 2" lead straight to major manga spoilers. If you want Season 4 fresh, stay away from them.
There's also Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, a short spin-off sequel written by Akutami and drawn by Yuji Iwasaki. It ran from September 2025 to March 2026 and is separate from the anime's story.

Bottom line
- Release date: none yet. Anything specific you see online is a guess.
- Confirmed: title, studio (MAPPA), director (Takeru Sato), a teaser and a Sukuna key visual.
- Next news: the Jump Festa 2027 panel, December 19, 2026, 15:25 JST.
- Homework: Seasons 1–3 plus Jujutsu Kaisen 0, about a month at two episodes a night.
